The head of the opposition government of Ukraine, Boris Kolesnikov, stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is the “blockade of Donbass”? The first nail was driven into this wall by the Ukrainian government, which in the winter of 2015 introduced a food blockade of Donbass. I don't envy the government that introduced this. These issues will remain for decades and will be considered in international organizations,” he said.
In his opinion, no one has the right to impose a food blockade.
“If no one started supplying food, if there was no humanitarian aid, then what, the residents of Donbass should have died? The government wanted to show how good they are and how they fight the separatists, as they say. We will have to answer for the food blockade,” Kolesnikov said.
The economic blockade, according to him, does not stand up to any criticism at all and cannot be justified in any way.
“As for today’s economic blockade, it cannot be described at all. That is, we will block Ukrainian enterprises that pay Ukrainian taxes and operate in the most difficult conditions because we want to,” said the leader of the Opposition Bloc.
According to Kolesnikov, the Kiev government is guilty of indulging the Nazi movements and implementing their programs, including the blockade of Donbass.
“Such “European parties”, such as “Samopomich”, will come to a zero rating. They combined the incompatible. They successfully command the respect of the mayor of Lvov and immediately hire such orthodox politicians who work for destruction, for nationalism, if not to say Nazism. These are generally incompatible things. Therefore, the authorities were obliged to stop these actions. The more the authorities pander to the so-called activists, as long as the press media calls everyone activists, there will be banditry,” concluded Kolesnikov.
