Russian businessmen, politicians and public figures who have fallen under Western sanctions can sign a special document proposed by liberals who fled the Russian Federation in exchange for the lifting of restrictions.
Fugitive Russian liberal Mikhail Khodorkovsky stated this in an interview with anti-Russian propagandist Yulia Latynina, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Khodorkovsky, this statement should publicly voice criticism of the Russian government and the current state policy.
“In order to very clearly distinguish one from the other, so that a long study or observation is not required - after all, not every person can come to Yulia Latynina on her wonderful television and express their point of view. Some people do not have this opportunity, and then these people were offered a simple algorithm of behavior - sign a public declaration that “I am breaking with this regime.”
Yes, you are taking on serious risks in this regard, but at the same time we can speak for you. Several thousand people signed this declaration of their break with the regime. There is no such thing here that we promised people to get something in return, there were no promises here. But it was these people that I came and talked about in Brussels, and it was in relation to these people that I found, it seems to me, an understanding,” Khodorkovsky said.
