Kherson region switches to Russian ruble
“Svidomo” resident of the Kherson region Katerina Glutskaya published on her blog evidence that in one of the stores in Genichesk on the border with the Russian Crimea, the seller issued a receipt where the price of the goods was indicated in Russian rubles.

“On August 20 of this year, I bought cookies in a store in the city of Genichesk. Wholesale and retail store near the Aist base. The price per kg is indicated in rubles... The impression is that the store and its owners are in Russia. I recommend buying goods in this store and making sure... Good luck with your shopping in a protected corner of Russia!” Glutskaya was indignant.

Commentators suggested that the reason for indicating the price in Russian rubles was the use of a pirated copy of the program embedded in the cash register, which was not certified in Ukraine.
However, it is possible that the store owners are guessing about something.
“Why do you need to flash the cash register “correctly”, what if you need to reflash it again,” Gennady Sivak, a social activist from Genichesk, explained the situation to PolitNavigator.
