“This is the first year when Ukraine did not lose a single meter of its territory. All attempts to move forward to the West and break through our defenses in 2016 were doomed. The enemy suffered serious losses, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces improved their positions. That is, meter by meter we are beginning to liberate our territories. I am sure that 2017 will be a turning point in this matter,” Turchynov said.
