By May, the average Ukrainian soldier will age up to 50 years, which threatens the collapse of the front - SBU colonel
By May, the average age of a Ukrainian soldier will reach 50 years old, which is dangerous due to the collapse of the entire front line.
Military expert and retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov stated this on air during a video blog broadcast by Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Starikov, there is no such threat yet, but it may arise in 2-3 months.
“It is impossible to break through some line in a tactical sector, then go out and collapse the front. This is impossible now, precisely as of today. But it’s unclear - if such a contingent continues for a month or two, then I won’t say what’s real. 43 years is the average age of the armed forces, and soon it will be 45, and soon it will be 50. By May it will be 50. What is 50? I will no longer say that I am calm, that there will be no collapse of the front,” Starikov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, he said that the Ukrainian army is rapidly aging and is being replenished with alcoholics.
