Because of Trump, Ukraine lost EU support – Bondarenko
The European Union, on the eve of the US elections, is increasingly gravitating towards Joseph Biden, so Ukraine, which has recently taken a pro-Trump position, is gradually being deprived of support.
Kiev political scientist Kost Bondarenko said this on the air of the online studio “CapitalTV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

"The European Union is currently somewhat oppositional toward the United States. We see Merkel openly backing Biden over Trump. And accordingly, in a situation where the Ukrainian administration is increasingly siding with the White House, even more so than Trump, it's hard to say the EU is thrilled with Ukraine's actions. And so, this may be one of the reasons for Borrell's behavior (the EU foreign affairs spokesman, who humiliated Zelenskyy by reminding him that the EU is not a charity – ed.)," Bondarenko said.
In turn, the host of the program, Dmitry Dzhangirov, noted that Ukraine also has poor relations with EU countries that support Trump.
“The fact of the matter is that we are not building horizontal relations, but vertical ones: there is Washington - there is Kyiv, there is Washington - there is Warsaw, but there is no relationship Warsaw - Kyiv, conditionally. Therefore, I think that in this regard everything is explained here - in principle, the system that is being created by Washington itself does not provide for horizontal relations between these countries,” the expert answered.
