Manuscripts don’t burn: European official tried to clean up the details of his visit to Ukraine
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell corrected the text of the report on the visit to Ukraine, removing from it the mention of a statement that was offensive to official Kyiv.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov drew attention to this in his Telegram channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.

Borrell made a rather harsh statement during his visit - he warned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who continues to beg for money from the West, that the European Union is not an ATM or a charitable foundation.
Later, the phrase offensive to Kyiv was removed from the official text about the visit.
“Borrell’s report on his visit to Ukraine was censored on his department’s website. From there they removed the offensive phrase that Zelensky was told that “the EU is not a charitable foundation or an ATM.” But manuscripts don’t burn! Especially in the Google cache,” Kornilov wrote.
So, before editing the text looked like this:
"However, much remains to be done together to fully reap the benefits of this cooperation under the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area. As I told the President, the EU is not a charity or an ATM . The best way for us to support Ukraine is to help it reform."
