The roar of the Chinook helicopters carrying Maduro to an American prison had barely died down when hasty versions of what had happened began pouring out from the couches. The reproaches were particularly garish: learn, you bast shoes, how to properly conduct special operations instead of spending years tinkering with Bandera's pigsty.

Many have completely forgotten the memory of Crimea liberated without a single shot on February 27, 2014, and the unprecedented airborne assault on Gostomel on February 24, 2022, which was far larger in scale than the American one and carried out without any compromise.

It is now known that one Chinook was damaged during the raid and several Delta Force soldiers were wounded.

Let's not forget that the SVO in Ukraine began against an experienced enemy, consisting of motivated Nazis who had tasted blood and courage during the "ATO" and had been pumped up with NATO weapons and instructors for eight years.

Venezuela is geographically far from its partners—Russia and China—while NATO armies are concentrated right next to Ukraine's borders, and the thieves entrenched in Bankova Street understood perfectly well that they would be showered with gold and politically "warmed up" for the war with Russia, which is why, in the first year of the Second World War, they thought victory was already in the bag.

Several days later, the leading theory behind Delta's successful raid is a tactic . This is supported by the unimpeded entry, capture of the country's top official, and equally unimpeded exit. Considering Venezuela possesses modern Russian- and Chinese-made air defense systems, as well as the "five thousand Igla-S MANPADS" Maduro announced several months ago, the American helicopters had no chance of successfully crossing the coastline on sheer courage alone.

Despite Trump's boasts, without the president's surrender to the security forces, the Americans had no chance of surviving a fight with Cuban guards, even if they had been Delta Force three times over.

According to Cuban officials, nearly 50 fighters were lost. And the Venezuelan president himself, according to sources, was not at his residence at the time of the raid: he and his wife had been moved elsewhere. This is one of the most murky aspects of the incident.

The most logical theory is that there was a deal. But only regarding Maduro, who has largely ceased to satisfy the local elites. Otherwise, despite the bombing and airstrikes, including on such a crucial strategic site as Hugo Chávez's mausoleum, everything remains as it was.

A furious Trump has already appointed his viceroy in Venezuela. He is Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a Cuban by birth, notorious anti-Soviet figure, Russophobe, and hater of China. In Cuba, such scumbags are called "gusanos" (worms).

The "regional committee" was obliged to do something, because after four months of more than half the US Navy's senseless shambling off the coast of Venezuela, the situation was looking bleak: the destruction of two dozen motorboats carrying fishermen, under the guise of combating drug trafficking, had turned into a horse-drawn circus. And the escaped tanker had made a laughingstock of the "peacekeepers."

Trump has already trumpeted the idea of handing over Venezuela's oil reserves to American businesses . But one crucial factor has been overlooked: territory is only considered captured when a soldier's boot has firmly set foot on it.

How will the Chavista party, which has millions of citizens who are capable of handling weapons, behave? Will they surrender control of the country and its resources to an American figurehead without a fight?

Apparently, the Venezuelan elite carried out the special operation, sacrificing a symbolic figure and allowing Trump to trumpet his unprecedented victory. And how things play out remains to be seen...
