Gryznya is “bloody”: Kobolev blackmails Firtazh with “democratic” pickets
The Democratic Sokyra organization held a picket near the Supreme Court in order to draw attention to the lawsuit against Kievoblgaz Sales LLC.
The lawsuit was filed by one of the organization's members, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Several activists took part in the picket and held the flags of this organization. The essence of the lawsuit is to force Kievoblgaz Sales to abandon the so-called. temperature coefficient, which is taken into account when adjusting the readings of household gas meters in accordance with the methodology for bringing the volume of gas to standard conditions according to the readings of household meters in the absence of instruments for measuring temperature and gas pressure.
According to the participants of the action, the temperature coefficient is already taken into account when calculating for gas, and regional gas companies use it twice.
“We hope that the court will side with the people and the law, and not with Firtash. But there is little faith in this, so we will prepare and fight in other ways. It’s possible to file new lawsuits until Firtash stops robbing people,” said DemSokira activist Yegor Paskhalov, plaintiff in the case.
In February, activists already carried out a similar action, but nothing has changed since then. The court continues to study the case and considers the issue of temperature coefficients.
“Our claim is that this is illegal. The volume of gas, which is called temperature coefficients, is already included in the production and technical data. They must recalculate the bills and remove the temperature coefficients that they apply twice,” said Mark Savchuk, Chairman of the NABU Public Control Council.
The organization “Democratic Sokyra” is financed by the head of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Andrey Kobolev, which explains the fact that its complaints do not relate to gas tariffs as such, but to temperature coefficients, which have little effect on the amounts that Ukrainian citizens are forced to pay for gas.
