Georgia demanded an explanation from Poland - how the passportless Saakashvili got there
The Chief Prosecutor's Office of Georgia appealed to Poland regarding information disseminated in the media about the visit of ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili to this country.

“In connection with Saakashvili’s visit to Poland, based on information disseminated in the media, the chief prosecutor’s office contacted the competent authorities of Poland. “All procedures provided for by law have been started,” said Georgiy Grdzelishvili, Deputy Head of the Department of Public Relations and Media of the Chief Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia.
According to Polish media, ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili visited Poland. Saakashvili spoke at an event dedicated to the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, and also held negotiations regarding the cooperation of his Ukrainian political project with the Polish ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party.
Let us remind you that the ex-president of Georgia and the former head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship. The Georgian government stated that it would demand the extradition of Saakashvili from any country where he remains. Four criminal cases have been initiated against Saakashvili on Georgian territory.
