In the footage of a report from Nepal, Kyiv journalists discovered Shkiryak’s girlfriend, Katerina Khramova.
“The taxpayer can be calm about the moral health of the head of the State Emergency Service.
I understand that on such a dangerous expedition without a fighting and reliable friend, and even a yoga specialist, there’s no way, it’s just a pipe!” – journalist Evgeniy Lauer comments sarcastically.
The piquancy of the situation is that Shkiryak was appointed to the Ministry of Emergency Situations after the demonstrative arrest of the previous head of the department, accused of corruption, right at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Almost immediately after his appointment, Shkiryak announced mass dismissals of corrupt officials in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, promising that the security forces “will have enough handcuffs and cameras” for “fat cats.”
Before working at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Shkiryak was listed as an adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov - now he also has a chance to prove in practice the slogan of the Maidan - “one law for all.”
