“European exchange standards”: a captive militia patient with tuberculosis was transported in a common bus
After the exchange, one of the released people who sought medical help told doctors that he was suffering from an open form of tuberculosis.

Commissioner for Human Rights in the DPR Daria Morozova spoke about this on the “60 Minutes” program of the “Russia-1” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We still needed two ambulances yesterday. There was also a very unpleasant nuance: they put a man sick with an open form of tuberculosis on the general bus. It’s good that he came up immediately after the exchange and said so himself. Now he is in the tuberculosis dispensary. But also, you understand that we now have to examine everyone who had contact with him these two days,” the ombudsman said.
According to Morozova, many had to seek medical help due to the abuse and inhumane conditions in which the Ukrainian side kept the prisoners.
“Besides this, people are starting to seek medical help: some have something broken, some have old injuries, some people have new ones. Many medical workers are involved in this very process with former prisoners of war,” added Daria Morozova.
