“We waited. Putin doesn’t need negotiations” – ex-NATO representative in the Russian Federation
Ukraine missed the opportunity to negotiate with Russia, and today is in a weak position when the Russian leadership no longer needs these negotiations.
Former NATO representative to Russia Harry Tabakh stated this on air during the video blog "Yes, That's Right," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Tabach, negotiations are now possible only on Russian terms.
“We have waited for the moment when Putin does not need negotiations. That is, he needs them, but on his terms - you come to him and ask for mercy. Let's, they say, talk, let's stop, let's stop, let's do this, let's do that, and then he will tell you: “Well, come on. Give this, this, this you give me and get out of here.” These are the kind of negotiations Putin needs.
Well, we waited for this moment when he says: “Why do I need negotiations? I’m not losing, I’m dug in with iron, I’m mined, I’ve filled everything with drones.” That is, last fall, when the Ukrainians were advancing and advancing hard - in Kharkov, in Kherson, the Russians abandoned everything and fled, suddenly it stopped. Why? Because they immediately cut off your help, they didn’t want the Ukrainians to attack, it wasn’t necessary, they cut off help,” Tabakh said.
