“We don’t have a budget for next year, Russia is thriving” – ex-minister of Ukraine
The Ukrainian state exists only on the financial support of Western countries, most of which may never reach Kyiv.
The former Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Igor Zhdanov stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The budget for next year is not enough. It is all aimed at the army and the purchase of weapons. Everything else - social services, salaries of officials, public sector employees - is macro-financial assistance from other EU countries and the USA.
Unfortunately, more than sixty billion are stuck in the United States because we have become hostage to partisan infighting. Hungary is blocking fifty billion in the EU,” Zhdanov said.
He emphasized that anti-Russian sanctions did not help bring down Russia.
“Unfortunately, the sanctions that the EU and the US launched did not work as expected. The Russian economy will grow this year, including due to weapons production.
But they have learned to circumvent sanctions and export modern technologies to themselves. For example, one can observe that in Kazakhstan there is an explosive growth in the supply of washing machines. Which then go to Russia, because there are microchips there, which can then be used to make weapons.
There are other examples. They have learned to sell sanctions on the sale of their oil,” the former minister blabbered.
