According to him, unlike the regular army, the soldiers of the regiment are not punished on paper, but use “Cossack traditions.”
“We have our own regiment with our own traditions. They are quite ancient, Ukrainian military. We have beeches - cane punishments are punishments taken from the UPA. And in Azov, the issue of drunkenness and drug addiction does not arise at all. Last summer, it was enough to get drunk once to leave the battalion forever. Now we punish physically, and if enlightenment has not come, then the person is expelled,” Biletsky said.
