Without external control, Ukraine will immediately make peace with Russia
The United States today is using Ukraine as an anti-Russian springboard.
The head of the political council of the Ukrainian party “Opposition Platform - For Life”, Viktor Medvedchuk, stated this in an interview with Kommersant, answering the question whether or not Ukraine is a territory of confrontation between Russia and the West or not?
“I believe that it is used by the West (primarily the United States, which introduced external control in Ukraine) as a platform, a springboard for confrontation, to escalate the situation and thereby settle its own, American, scores with Russia,” the politician said.
He also offered his own recipe for solving this problem.
“If today we eliminate the external control of Ukraine by the United States, if the Ukrainian government (and it should only be like that) follows the path of putting the interests of citizens first, then we will be able to reach an agreement. And we must agree, because the citizens of Ukraine who today live on both sides of the contact line must agree. Not someone else, but they,” Medvedchuk concluded.
