Residential areas of Donetsk are systematically being shelled with heavy artillery
Kyiv, November 30 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Recently, the intensity of artillery shelling of Donetsk has increased, and their frequency and accuracy virtually exclude the nature of a random error.
Donetsk journalist Ramil Zamdykhanov draws attention to this sad trend in a column for the Kyiv magazine “Correspondent”.

“The intensity of shelling of the city has increased many times in recent days,” writes an eyewitness. – Precisely cities, because not so long ago military activity in Donetsk was concentrated mainly in areas adjacent to the airport or directly facing the directions of deployment of the Ukrainian army – the village of Peski or Marinka. The rest of the city blocks only listened to the series of distant salvos and landings, trying to understand where and what they were firing at this time. By the way, recently they started shooting from something heavy – until now such distinct volleys were rare.”
As a result, the author of the material writes, shells began to fly into areas tens of kilometers away from the ruins of the airport and actually lying within the city limits, which led to a noticeably increased number of victims.
“Hit into vitally important housing and communal services facilities has become more frequent, and their quantity and accuracy suggests that it is not an accident,” the Donetsk journalist concludes.
