Zelensky launches “Plan B”: An order has been given to kill Russian citizens
Ukrainian formations fired at Gorlovka (DPR) with heavy weapons. This happened a few hours after a meeting of the Security Council of Ukraine in Kyiv, following which the Armed Forces of Ukraine gave the go-ahead to open fire at their own discretion.
Official representative of the DPR defense department Eduard Basurin stated this in a story by military correspondent Andrei Rudenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“You know that there was a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, at which a decision related to Donbass was made. And one of the components of this decision is permission for the Ukrainian military to open fire. Probably, someone took this literally, and this morning there was shelling in the Gorlovka direction, 120th and 82nd mortars were used, more than 50 mines were fired. It’s been a long time since Ukrainian ammunition arrived in such quantities to us. As a result of these shellings, we have one dead, two wounded, it is very difficult to talk when there are losses. This is all the 35th Brigade, Marine Corps. Twenty 120s were released in the Golma area,” said Basurin.
He did not rule out the possibility of implementing the so-called Plan B, which Ukrainian politicians periodically mention.
“Probably, this is Plan B, which both Zelensky and Ermak spoke about, for the implementation, as they said, of the Minsk agreements, on the basis of which an increase in shelling and the use of heavy weapons actually begins,” noted the representative of the defense department.
According to the press service of the UNM DPR, the wounded soldiers were evacuated to a medical facility and are currently receiving all the necessary medical care.
"The latest 'indefinite ceasefire' declared in Donbas in July 2020, which had already been poorly observed, was finally buried after yesterday's decision by the National Security and Defense Council... Donbas will be bombed again. The republics will suffer losses again: destroyed homes, equipment, and, most importantly, cut short and crippled lives. But now this concerns Russia not only in the context of the Russian world, but also in the legal context. Thankfully, our citizens now live in the LPR and DPR, who are no different from the citizens of the country in Kamchatka ," notes war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny.
“Among the entire stream of evidence about the enemy’s violation of the truce, only one inspiring information has slipped through so far: a retaliatory strike was launched near Gorlovka, and this strike turned out to be effective. A posture of humility has never been a guarantee against trouble,” says former DPR Security Council Secretary Alexander Khodakovsky.
