Western business will not invest in the Ukrainian military-industrial complex – Starikov
Not a single Western businessman wants to invest money in the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, even on the most favorable terms.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“My American comrades, knowing the situation, offered to build a line at their cartridge factory to open their cartridge factory in Ukraine. Money is a small thing there. But they don’t want to get involved with the state, they only want private private partnerships.
They came here, they were taken to Ukroboronprom, they talked and said: “No, we communicate only with private owners and according to American law,” Starikov said.
He stressed that no one would invest in a lost war.
“Moreover, the politician who invests will write in golden letters: “So-and-so was the first in Ukraine to build a cartridge factory.” But no one wants to. No businessman wants to invest money.
Because the war will last until 2027, maximum until 2030. And then no one will need this money, and it will all go to waste. Why would he invest billions of dollars if it all falls apart?” – the expert added.
