According to the publication "0564 ," a cross, wreaths, and other ritual paraphernalia were burned at the grave. The social group "Column of Shame of Kryvyi Rih" called the incident "revenge" for the torn down Lenin monuments.
"All Trident cells are obligated to carry out retaliatory actions against representatives of pro-Russian and leftist forces (both living representatives and their symbols) at their locations. We call on other members of the nationalist community to join these retaliatory actions," Trident representatives wrote in a statement on the Banderovets website.
