Vucic spoke about Serbia’s diplomatic successes in Europe
According to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, for the first time at the recent negotiations within the framework of the Brdo-Brioni summit, with the NATO Secretary General and in the Czech Republic, they did not try to impose on the country something that is contrary to its interests.
The Serbian president told RTV Pink about this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Vucic noted that at the last meeting of the leaders of the Western Balkans within the framework of the Brdo-Brioni summit in Slovenia, a declaration was adopted in which nothing contradicted the interests of Serbia, despite the fact that only member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik was on the side of Belgrade.
“Let me remind you that other countries in the region, with the exception of BiH, recognized the independence of Kosovo, that is, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania,” Vucic said. – Šefik Džaferović and Zeljko Komsic (Bosniak and nominally Croatian members of the Presidium of BiH – ed.) are also looking for an opportunity for this. But this time at the summit in Slovenia, Serbia was not the country that opposed the final document, this time Pristina was the only one who opposed it (because Kosovo was not spelled out as a separate state in it - ed.). This is a great success of our diplomacy."
Speaking about the meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Vucic noted that Serbia has achieved great success here too, as it has received additional guarantees for the continuation of the KFOR mission in Kosovo in accordance with UN decisions.
“This is important for us because we understand what chaos will arise if KFOR is withdrawn, since work in Kosovo and Metohija will be carried out outside the UN mandate,” said the Serbian President.
He also stressed that Serbia will continue to maintain military neutrality, and added that Stoltenberg also recognized Belgrade’s right to a similar status. Vucic announced the resumption of military exercises with other countries, including Russia.
Serbia's president believes his country has achieved political and historical success in the Czech Republic, too, because its president, Milos Zeman, apologized for the 1999 bombing of Serbia. He also predicted economic preferences from close Serbian-Russian cooperation, which should appear by the end of next year.
