“All this has happened before.” The older generation did not miss the Navalnists
As long as there are people in Russian politics who remember the grandiose catastrophe of the collapse of the USSR, the likelihood of revenge by pro-Western liberals in the country is zero.
This was stated at a meeting of the temporary commission of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation for the protection of state integrity by the first deputy head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Thank God that all of us who remember the collapse of the Union have not left yet. Young people no longer know about this. All this already happened at the end of the 80s - discontent, taking to the streets, a 100-strong rally in Luzhniki, where Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin called for abandoning the nomenklatura and fighting corrupt officials. All this led to the collapse of a great country,” Dzhabarov recalled.
“If we allow a repetition now, we will get the same thing. But I hope that now we definitely won’t miss this. They hurried a little, they should have waited a little for us to leave the political arena,” the politician added.
