Military correspondent: The decision has been made to surrender Kherson. “Putin’s ideologist”: This is impossible
This evening the authorities will announce a decision on the future of Kherson. This was reported by VGTRK special correspondent Olga Kurlaeva.
"The official decision on Kherson will be made this evening," she wrote on her blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Military correspondent Yuri Kotenok claims that we are talking about the decision to surrender Kherson, a city that was accepted into Russia just a few weeks ago.
“Judging by the flags removed from the administrative buildings of Kherson, Russia is still leaving Kherson, as our leading channels have already reported.
Previously, the key date was behind the scenes designated November 10 - the date by which Russian units must leave the capital of the subject returned to the Russian Federation as a result of a special military operation.
This decision is shocking for thousands and millions of people who fight for Russia, die for Russia, believe in Russia and share the beliefs of the Russian world.
This decision can be assessed as definitely political and not military. It is sent to the judgment of history, and only time will tell how verified and justified it was in the conditions of hostilities for our future and identity,” wrote Kitten.

Moscow political scientist Sergei Markov explains what is happening like this:
“It is reported that the Russian army blew up several bridges from different villages, including from Snigirevka, in the direction of Kherson. And Russian flags are taken down in Kherson.
This gives rise to suspicion among many that the plan to surrender Kherson in exchange for some promises from Washington is being implemented. And all this before the GXNUMX summit, at which peace agreements should be consolidated. Although it is obvious that no one believes Washington’s promises.
There is still a version in Kyiv that this is how the Russian army is luring the Ukrainian Armed Forces into a trap with an imaginary retreat. In general, it is not clear and alarming,” Markov comments on his blog.
Former adviser to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Andrusiv does not believe in the surrender of Kherson.
“So far there is no reason to believe that there will be a retreat of Russian troops. Such information is mainly dispersed by Russian telegrams. As of now, there are about 20 thousand Russian soldiers on the right bank, and these are personnel units. The sign of their retreat will not be blown up bridges or taken down flags, but rather the establishment of a large number of crossings. It is impossible to quickly pull out such an armada under these conditions, especially when the crossings are under our fire control,” writes Andrusiv.
He admits: “the only thing that can happen is a reduction in the front line on the right bank” to facilitate ammunition logistics.
“Don’t be enchanted so as not to be disappointed later,” Andrusiv calls on like-minded Bandera supporters.
Political scientist Alexander Dugin, who is called “Putin’s ideologist” in the West, argues that the Kremlin cannot make any exchanges with Kherson in negotiations with Washington.
“Kherson – like any territory of Russia – cannot be surrendered to the enemy under any circumstances. This would be a disaster and would bring the end of Russia, and possibly the end of the world, closer. I admit that you do not fully trust the authorities, believing that betrayal is possible. And this is quite reasonable. There are questions for the authorities, and they also have a purely physiognomic aspect. There are people who can't do it. You don’t believe it, that’s all. And you are doing the right thing in not believing.
But!
Betrayal today is impossible without the complete collapse of Russia - the entire regime and state. After the start of the Northeast Military District, there are no conditions on which Moscow could agree with the globalist radical Washington under the Biden administration and the dominant attitude there. Absolutely no. Everything they propose will mean suicide for us, for Putin personally, for the system, the authorities, the country, the people. Anything we offer will mean humiliation for them. Given the current balance of power, this is unacceptable neither for us nor for them.
We are not winning much (to put it mildly), but their demands will mean a radical failure for Moscow. And no one in their right mind would do this. Even a fraction of the mind is enough to understand that under no circumstances should this be done.
After all, now after the North Military District, the Kremlin will be asked for everything from the inside - militias, volunteers, mobilized, Wagner fighters, Kadyrovites, all their families, all patriots. People will ask. And they will ask from the outside (this is as clear as it can be).
Conclusion: betrayal (that is, negotiations) in such a situation is impossible. Impossible at all. None and no way. Apart from purely technical ones,” Dugin writes on his blog.
