Simferopol, January 14 (PolitNavigator, Semyon Dmitriev) – Utility services are in no hurry to clear the Crimean capital of snow and ice, which turns the movements of citizens, especially in the morning, into complete torture.

The situation has not changed with the end of the New Year holidays - it is difficult to find a Simferopol resident who would not fall on the streets that have turned into a skating rink:
“Utility workers are not working because nothing has changed; the same people in power are the same as before, and while they are here, nothing will change,” Stepan Kiskin, a deputy of the Simferopol City Council, told PolitNavigator. – In my opinion, nothing changes, only promises, but no deeds. Until we change this government, nothing will happen. It is necessary for people not just to talk in the kitchen, but to demand that they come out and demand from these authorities! Therefore, we need to change the government and find those people who will work. Walking is very difficult and slippery. I fell, now my chest hurts, and there are probably thousands of people like me around the city.”
In addition to Stepan Kiskin, more than 700 Simferopol residents have been injured over the past two weeks. The snow and ice mess was not removed even near the Council of Ministers of Crimea - apparently they are waiting for it to thaw.
