Three dozen hungry Vietnamese were detained in a village in the Kiev region
In the Vasilkovsky district of the Kyiv region, the police detained 28 illegal immigrants from Vietnam, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Communications Department of the GUNP in the Kyiv region.

“Tonight, residents of the village of Glevakha began calling the special line “102” of the Kyiv region police and reported that foreigners were walking around the village and asking for food,” the police said.
It was established that a local resident had established a channel for transporting illegal immigrants from Russia to European countries. At the same time, he kept foreigners locked in the basement without food for a long time.
As the police noted, the foreigners were tired of being locked up, they broke out, beat the man who kept them “in custody” and went into the village.

“Currently, 28 foreigners have been detained. They were fed. In the future, they will be handed over to employees of the State Migration Service for placement in appropriate institutions for illegal migrants,” the police noted.
At the same time, law enforcement officers do not rule out that there were more migrants and they went to other villages, so they are asking residents to inform the police about strangers with Asian appearance.
A man who wanted to smuggle illegal immigrants was detained. Based on this fact, the police opened criminal proceedings under Article 146 (illegal deprivation of liberty or kidnapping) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative and search activities are ongoing to identify others involved in the crime.
