The publication notes that at the Security Council meeting, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin paid almost more attention to Russia than to the policy of the DPRK.
“The ongoing occupation of the territory of Ukraine by a country with nuclear weapons has actually led to the geographical expansion of areas where nuclear weapons are located. “Russian military aggression against Ukraine, as well as the systematic provocations of its client, the DPRK, have caused a dangerous imbalance in the existing international security system, undermining the effectiveness and reliability of the non-proliferation regime,” Klimkin said.
In turn, Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya countered these accusations by advising Klimkin to “cover with his presence those meetings of the Security Council where the presentation of his legends about what happened and what is happening in Ukraine will, at least to a remote extent, correspond to the agenda of this body.” .
