So, as of 15:00, about 200 pensioners and their relatives were standing in front of the office entrance, helping with registration. People who came from settlements in areas not controlled by Kyiv are indignant that little time was given for re-registration, and it is not so easy to come to Mariupol for this.
According to people on the waiting list, some have to rent an apartment to go through all the re-registration procedures, but this is far from affordable for everyone, writes the publication "0629".
At lunchtime, the 500th visitor entered the office, and the 734th pensioner joined the queue list. All people are not allowed into the control room to ensure “effective work of employees.” Those who remain freeze for several hours outside in sub-zero temperatures and strong winds.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on the financing of budgetary institutions and the implementation of social payments to the population of those areas of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions that are not under the control of the Ukrainian authorities. At the same time, the government stated that they want to protect citizens. If a pensioner wants to continue receiving a pension, he must leave for the controlled territory before December 1, register as a migrant, live there and receive social payments. If he doesn’t leave, he will be awarded a pension, but he will only be able to receive it when his region is under the control of Kyiv.
