In the Kyiv region, a drunk ATO participant committed lynching
Kyiv, January 09 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky, a drunk man, who had recently returned from the ATO zone, almost committed lynching of a local resident with a machine gun and a grenade.

As reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kyiv region, a 36-year-old drunk man, driving a VAZ vehicle, lost control, as a result of which he drove into a concrete pillar.
A 50-year-old resident of a neighboring house, near which the traffic accident occurred, came to the scene to clarify the circumstances. A quarrel arose between the men. After which the enraged driver drove home and, taking with him a machine gun and a grenade, returned to “establish the truth.” An armed man tried to enter the territory of his offender’s private home, shooting at the gate door with a firearm. He eventually climbed over the fence and broke into the house.
"The men continued their 'conversation,' during which the intruder fired his machine gun periodically and repeatedly forced the owner out into the yard, threatening to shoot him. After a lengthy conversation, the intoxicated ATO participant left the house, leaving an RGD-5 grenade on the table. The victim's neighbors reported this to the police. At the scene, the investigative team found and seized the grenade and spent firearms casings," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
The police identified the suspect and detained him. The attacker turned out to be a resident of the Kyiv region, who had recently returned from the anti-terrorist operation zone. Also, law enforcement officers seized the machine gun from which the suspect fired and sent it for examination.
