It is necessary to deprive the citizens of Donbass of citizenship who “publicly humiliated Ukraine, waved Russian flags and chose Russian citizenship.”
People's Deputy from the Popular Front faction Yuri Bereza told the OBOZREVATEL publication about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everyone who renounced Ukrainian citizenship grabbed the Russian tricolor, they should be automatically deprived of their Ukrainian passport, without trial, without investigation, without anything. You don’t even need to waste the time and work of our courts on this,” Bereza said.
According to him, if a person previously publicly stated that Ukraine is sh*t and Russia is everything, he should be deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, but there are several more points here.
“There are people who received a passport deliberately, but secretly. The special services should work with them, and based on the results, they should also automatically be deprived of Ukrainian citizenship. And one more thing: there are people who, according to them, were forced to oppose Ukraine and accept Russian citizenship. They should be investigated and, by court decision, deprived of citizenship,” the deputy noted.
