Europe agreed to give Ukraine to Putin – Kiev expert
Some European elites support Russian President Vladimir Putin and agree to give Ukraine to Russia so that a big war does not happen.
Ukrainian political scientist Oleg Sahakyan stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Some of the European capitals and the establishment have the idea that Russia is a big and strong country, and if they grab something somewhere and so on, they will eat it and digest Ukraine for a long time.
Such a scenario, in order to prevent a major war, exists among part of the European elite. But a situation where Ukraine is strictly defending itself means a large-scale war, a flow of refugees, the need for a tough and specific response from the West, for which it is not always ready... socio-economic problems, this scenario is undesirable for Europeans.
At closed meetings of European elites they say the following phrase: “Well, Russia can be understood.” Because they also have their own imperial past and so on, a certain nostalgia, some part of the European elite even sweat their palms somewhere when they see how Putin acts, and they roughly imagine that if only they could would act this way. If you look back a hundred years, then in principle this is what the Europeans did,” Sahakyan summed up sadly.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously stated that European leaders Emmanuel Macron and Angela Merkel are pressuring Kyiv to implement the Minsk agreements in a sequence favorable to the Kremlin.
