Donetsk, August 29 (Navigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Intensified preparations for the school season are underway in Donetsk. The first of September is a cherished date for boys and girls, everyone is waiting for the first day of school. However, there is every reason to assume that the 2014-2015 academic year will either be disrupted or postponed.

The reason is the incessant artillery shelling of the city, and the systematic destruction of schools, and the infrastructure of the education system in general.
Shells are exploding not only near schools, they are already beginning to destroy these schools.
Several dozen educational institutions were bombed in the Petrovsky district, and now the turn has reached Kievsky, one of the central districts of Donetsk.
School No. 19 came under fire here. As you can see, this school year will be problematic, to say the least. The shell destroyed one of the walls of the building, all the glass was broken by shrapnel and the blast wave. Naturally, children in such an environment have no time for studying.
And not far from the school, the production premises and facilities of the Gazapparat enterprise were destroyed. The premises suffered serious damage: the roof was broken, all communications were damaged, and glass was broken. Expensive equipment was destroyed and cannot be restored. Previously profitable production was destroyed, employees were left without work, and several dozen families were left without a livelihood.
