In the near future, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive a new batch of deadly weapons from Britain
The Ukrainian army will receive attack drones with a range of up to 200 kilometers.
This was stated in a statement by the British government today, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Today the Prime Minister will confirm the UK's continued provision of hundreds of air defense missiles and new unmanned aircraft systems, including hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of more than 200km," the statement said.
It is noted that all this "will be delivered over the coming months, as Ukraine prepares to strengthen its resistance to the ongoing Russian invasion."
In addition, the UK will begin training Ukrainian pilots in the summer.
“This summer we will begin the initial stage of basic training for Ukrainian pilots. We will adapt the program used by British pilots to provide Ukrainians with piloting skills that they can use on other types of aircraft,” the British government said.
It is indicated that this preparation will go in parallel with London’s efforts aimed at providing Ukraine with F-16 fighters, “which Ukraine has chosen for itself as the best.”

The Kremlin reacted to the planned transfer of British drones.
"We have an extremely negative attitude towards this," said Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, the British authorities want to achieve primacy in pumping up Kyiv with weapons and added that this will not significantly affect the course of the military defense.
"This leads to further destruction and retaliatory actions. For Ukraine, this makes history much more complicated," the presidential press secretary added.
Earlier, Ukraine received a batch of Storm Shadow cruise missiles from Britain. Several of them in recent days managed to get through Russian air defense and strike Lugansk.
At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the first success in countering these missiles.
“Russian air defense systems intercepted one Storm Shadow long-range cruise missile, as well as ten HIMARS projectiles,” the Russian defense ministry said today.
