Alchevsk, September 26 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Alchevsk, a fire occurred at Mill “600” of the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, owned by the Industrial Union of Donbass.

According to local residents, the incident occurred due to the explosion of an oxygen cylinder at gas cutters. As a result, barrels with fuel and lubricants caught fire, reports the Informator publication.

For some time there was thick black smoke over the city. The fire was successfully extinguished. According to unconfirmed information, one person died and one received severe burns.

As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Donetsk there was an explosion at a chemical products plant - a shell hit warehouses with explosives.
