Horror on Ukrainian airwaves: High probability that Russia will go to Zaporozhye
Russia is creating favorable conditions for itself to attack Zaporozhye, a regional center that is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on air on the Politeka video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" There's a high probability that Russia will take the shortest route to Zaporizhzhia, through Kamenskoye . There's been increased activity by sabotage and reconnaissance groups and various unsound movements here. Or these resources will be used to seize the rest of southern Donbas and enter Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, capturing Hulyaipole and Orekhovo."
"Starting, let's say, from the Kurakhivske and Velykonovoselivske directions—Russia could attempt to seize all these territories in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast and part of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It would be more expedient from a military standpoint to send them there—the fields, the greenery, have fallen, the situation has worsened for the defenders, and there are no large settlements. The conditions for an offensive in this particular Zaporizhzhia steppe direction have become easier ," Bortnik stated.
