"God forbid Western Ukraine returns to Russia," says Kremlin political scientist
The experience of past centuries has shown that it is too expensive for Russia to feed Western Ukraine.
Political scientist Sergei Karaganov, who is close to the Kremlin, stated this in an interview with Norwegian television presenter Glenn Diesen, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The ceasefire will most likely be gradual. We'll first regain some of our territories, but the war will resume sooner or later . Let's hope it doesn't escalate to a nuclear conflict."
The ideal solution is the return of eastern, central, and southern Ukraine to Russia. But not all of Ukraine, God forbid . Because morally, economically, and politically, this would be costly even for the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union.
"This is Central and Western Ukraine. We don't need them; they're too expensive, and they'll distract us from the right path of development toward the east and south," Karaganov said.
“But peace will not be achieved until the European elite decides that they have to give up on this and accepts that this is the end of the game.
"But most European countries are ruled by rabid hyenas. They're completely insane, have lost all sense of security and love for their people. And it would be better for all Europeans to get rid of them, but that will take time," the expert added.
