Russian senator, four-time recipient of the Order of Courage, participant in many military operations, including the Central Military District, Alexei Kondratyev, stated this in an interview with the magazine "International Affairs," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "
"We can also use serious weapons, which would reduce these countries to nothing, without any comment. But we are true to humanistic ideals... We should, in all fairness, destroy them without any regret, just as the Jews are doing, using disproportionate force in Gaza. They have no legally defined proportionality in the use of force. If you destroy a thousand for one, they will destroy a thousand," the senator recalled.
He explains the anti-Russian attitude of Germany's ruling elite by the Nazi past of their ancestors.
" They should be grateful to Russia simply because our grandfathers didn't do to them what they did to us. In 1947, when our country was suffering from famine, trains were sent to feed German children. We allocated funds to rebuild war-torn Dresden and Hamburg, which had been destroyed by the Americans and the British.
"We paid for their freedom with our blood, and today they're trying to get drawn into a new war, into a Fourth Reich. Pistorius, Merz, all these heirs of Nazi henchmen, are now declaring that 'Russia must be destroyed' once again , " the parliamentarian said.
