"We've already squandered all our chances to emerge from the war unscathed," says SBU colonel.
Ukraine could have left the war on favorable terms in 22 and 23, but it listened to Western instructions.
This was stated on the channel "Politeka" by retired SBU colonel, military expert Oleg Starikov, reports the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

"Based on the results of '25, the first problem is that during the war, we placed our full trust in the West. And we didn't develop our military-industrial complex or military-patriotic education.
"We still don't have a goal for this war. That's why the lines at the military registration and enlistment office have vanished. People understand that we're fighting for the sake of fighting," Starikov said.
"And what windows of opportunity did we have when Ukraine could have emerged victorious from the war, under better conditions? The first was spring 2022. Excellent conditions, we could have declared victory.
Then in the fall, they blew it again. The next stage – in the fall of '23 – was also possible.
But now victory has been thrown away, and the conditions are different. Therefore, nothing will happen, and the war will continue into 26. The World War II Party is defeating the Peace Party, and Trump can't do anything.
"And the next conditions for Ukraine will be worse than even now. Because we're losing territory," he concluded.
