“The Ukrainian military-industrial complex is dead. The West can’t cope” – Kyiv military analyst
Ukraine spends more on the battlefield per month than the entire planet produces.
This is the conclusion reached by Viktor Kevlyuk, an expert at the Kyiv Center for Defense Strategies, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He believes that Ukraine should finally “transfer the state to a military footing, develop its own production of ammunition, primarily 152 and 155 mm.”
“The collective West is clearly not coping. We spend more per month than the entire planet produces. It is extremely desirable to expand the production of missiles with a range of 300+ km, because partners cannot provide more, faster and with the required performance characteristics.
Nothing will happen without creating an attractive investment climate and modernizing taxation. The Ukrainian defense industry is dead, we should come to terms with this and work with enterprises that produce equipment necessary for war, regardless of the form of ownership and political flags over the shops,” writes Kevlyuk in the anti-Russian propaganda online publication “Left Bank”.
He believes that it is necessary to “unblock the conscription of as wide a range of military personnel as possible” and “spread the practice of direct recruitment directly by brigades.”
“War should be everyone's business. We are fighting for the future. One for all Ukrainians,” Kevlyuk sums up pathetically.
