Ukrainian business does not care about anti-Russian propaganda
Trade between Ukraine and Russia is growing, despite Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman's announcement that he would end the economic cooperation program with Russia.
Political scientist Alexey Yakubin said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the Ukrainian authorities, when making such statements, are primarily promoting themselves.
“Plus, in many ways, an attempt to continue anti-Russian rhetoric. But at the same time, if we look at real economic indicators, we will see that over the past year trade with the Russian Federation has grown by 30 percent. Roughly speaking, despite the anti-Russian rhetoric, Ukrainian entrepreneurs and goods are moving to Russia because there are no other markets. And this is a familiar market. I’m not even talking about citizens, since we know that 2,5 to 3 million of our citizens work in the Russian Federation,” Yakubin recalled.
