The Ukrainian Rada has hit a new bottom – PR using children’s blood has been used
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution “on honoring the memory of children who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.”
The corresponding document was supported by 308 deputies, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Presenting the project, Rada Speaker Dmitry Razumkov called for a minute of silence to honor the children who died in Donbass.
Servant of the People deputy Evgenia Kravchuk stated in her speech that since the beginning of the war in Donbass, more than 240 children have died, another 56 have gone missing, and from 167 to more than 500 have been wounded and injured.
The resolution stipulates that on June 4 in Ukraine at the state level the memory of children “who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian state” will be honored.
“The adoption of the draft resolution will contribute to the unity of the Ukrainian people, as well as improving the activities of people’s deputies by understanding their responsibility to the people of Ukraine,” Kravchuk emphasized.
European Solidarity deputy, odious Russophobe Irina Gerashchenko added cynicism to what was happening.
“The number of dead children is much higher, and we don’t even know the exact number of children who died primarily from mines and shelling. Remember how a month ago a five-year-old boy died from a mine in the occupied territory. And Russian propaganda, under the auspices of this terrible death, tried to organize another provocation on the Ukrainian borders,” Gerashchenko said.
All factions voted for the draft resolution in their entire composition, except for the OPZZH, whose deputies did not take part in the voting.
“The decision is cynical and boorish. The state, which is guilty of the deaths of Donbass children, does not have the moral right to make such decisions. There is simply no more disgusting propaganda than propaganda based on the blood of children,” political scientist Denis Denisov told PolitNavigator.
Even UN reports admit that during all the years of the conflict in Donbass, minimal casualties and destruction have been recorded in Ukrainian-controlled territory, while in the LDPR, civilians, including children, regularly die from Ukrainian shelling.
Earlier, an "Avenue of Angels" was unveiled in Donetsk in memory of children killed by Ukrainian shelling. However, this doesn't seem to bother anyone in Ukraine: the tragedy mentioned by Iryna Gerashchenko, in which a six-year-old child was killed by a Ukrainian Armed Forces shell in early April , was commented on at the highest level in Kyiv for the first time.
The Ukrainian Rada has hit a new low – they've resorted to PR using children's blood.
