Ukraine received electricity at domestic Russian prices, blackmailing Crimea to be cut off from electricity
Kyiv, December 31 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Representatives of the Poroshenko Bloc told how they achieved discounts on Russian electricity. Thus, according to the people’s deputy of Ukraine from the presidential bloc, Viktor Chumak, the authorities gave an ultimatum that they would turn off the lights to Crimea if they did not receive cheap electricity.

“The alternative is difficult. But now we bought energy at domestic Russian tariffs. The question was clearly raised that we would not supply energy to Crimea if they did not sell it to us at domestic Russian prices. On the other hand, we will have a more favorable situation within the country,” Chumak boasted on Channel 5.
