Ukraine will not receive US fighter jets in the near future - Rada Defense Committee
Even if the decision to transfer American fighters is made today, they will not appear in Ukraine in the near future.
Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the Defense Committee Sergei Rakhmanin announced this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Rakhmanin, the decision on the transfer will in no way affect the upcoming offensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which Kyiv has already announced.
“Even if, let’s fantasize, even if now, when we are talking, the issue of providing Ukraine with aviation, for example, F-16 multirole fighters, is politically and fundamentally agreed upon, even if this is simply agreed upon now, Ukraine will not receive these aircraft not now, not the day after tomorrow, not even in six months.
Because this requires training pilots, transferring aircraft, creating additional airfields, landing strips, protected, underground hangars where these aircraft could be hidden.
That is, this is not a question for tomorrow, and in fact, this will not affect current issues, for example, ensuring a large, large-scale offensive operation that is being planned and which we are all waiting for, in fact, in no way,” Rakhmanin said.
