Poroshenko strenuously denies that Gritsak escaped from the Titanic
The Security Service of Ukraine denies Ukrainian media reports that SBU head Gritsak has resigned from his post at his own request, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If I make such a decision, the official website of the Security Service of Ukraine will be the first to report it. I understand the impatience of my Russian counterparts. Over the past four years, the Service has learned to professionally outmaneuver the Russian intelligence services, inflicting painful blows on them. We will continue to do this, despite all the Russian fakes and rumors,” the press service allegedly quotes Gritsak’s words.
Let us note that this is not the first time in recent days that Petro Poroshenko has been forced to convince the public that the closest associates of the current president are not running away from him on the eve of the defeat predicted by sociologists in the second round of elections. Earlier, Poroshenko denied information about his departure abroad and dismissal from the post of deputy head of the Presidential Administration - Poroshenko’s “supervisor” of the Ukrainian courts, Alexei Filatov. And the other day Poroshenko fired the first deputy chairman of the State Border Service.
