Kyiv, February 11 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Semenyuta) - “The hyper-fall of the hryvnia is a consequence of the super-powerful emission of the hryvnia,” said Yulia Tymoshenko in the Verkhovna Rada, commenting on the situation on the foreign exchange market. According to Tymoshenko, “excessive printing of the hryvnia by the National Bank led to budget imbalance, the fall of the hryvnia and the bankruptcy of almost every citizen of Ukraine.”

According to the leader of Batkivshchyna, it is now necessary to immediately stop printing hryvnia, since there are no economic grounds for this. “We need to stop the thoughtless refinancing of private banks by the NBU, which today directly brings the hryvnia to the foreign exchange market through private banks and completely destroys the hryvnia,” she emphasized.
“I believe that today the course of economic policy that is diametrically opposed to the correct one has been chosen. It must be changed immediately and radically,” summed up Yulia Tymoshenko.
