One of the points for issuing Russian passports to residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics is located in the border town of Matveev Kurgan, Rostov region.
Military correspondent Semyon Pegov reported this on his Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, the building of the point is adjacent to local school No. 1.
“Preparation (repair, in particular) and organization of the process began back in March. In addition, the facility is under close attention of the Russian Guard,” the journalist said.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree simplifying the procedure for issuing Russian citizenship to residents of the DPR and LPR.
