The US will provide $125 million for Donbass
The United States will provide “additional assistance” of $125 million for the Donbass and those surrounding areas that were affected by the fighting.
This was announced by Deputy Administrator and Head of USAID for European and Eurasian Affairs Brock Birman during a briefing in Slavyansk.
“We are announcing today that, with the help of the American people, a $125 million USAID program will be directed to the Donbass, as well as neighboring regions that have suffered negative impacts from the conflict,” the American representative said.
This program will help create economic opportunities for new and existing businesses in the region.
The American delegation, together with local authorities, took part in the opening of the multifunctional space “Coworking & event space TOP SPACE”, where business and cultural events, as well as educational master classes, will be held.
