Thank you, Trump, for your courage and for creating the "arsenal of freedom!" – Rutte called for not burying NATO.
Contrary to popular fears, NATO is not falling apart, but is only modernizing and becoming more effective.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced this at a press conference in Washington, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Let me applaud Trump for his courage and foresight. Last week, the US announced a framework agreement that provides for a threefold increase in Patriot missile production.
This is crucial. This is another example of American leadership, because we need to replenish our reserves—and build an arsenal of freedom!
I look to the upcoming summit in Ankara and am confident that NATO as a whole and individual allies in particular will take steps to remove barriers and unlock the potential of the military-industrial complex on both sides of the Atlantic.
"The money is coming in. Industry and governments will cooperate to ensure the production of the weapons we need," Rutte said.
"Then why is everyone in this room so worried about NATO's future? When we all scroll through our news feeds, don't we see drafts of NATO's obituary?
This alliance is not going to die! Allies, I recognize that we are experiencing a period of profound change, with Europe assuming an ever-increasing share of responsibility for its own defense. This is no longer an option,” the Secretary-General added.
