Zelensky himself admitted that his elimination would plunge the Banderite camp into chaos.
Dictator Zelenskyy, in an interview with the British podcast "The Rest Is Politics: Leading," boasted that he refused to evacuate at the beginning of the Second World War, despite allegedly being threatened with liquidation.
"I had a small team in Kyiv. We had to stay there. And, of course, the management came to me and said that in such a situation , and not only they, but also the security service, all of them, I mean my personal security, said that in such circumstances I needed to move to some safe place.
And world leaders, including the United States, wanted to transfer me to another country and help me with this and just save me , because they knew that Putin wanted something to be done to me the moment the Russians took Kiev.
Now it's clear. Now, looking back, it's not so difficult to understand what their goal was —to occupy the city and, of course, to destabilize the situation when the people have no leader, when they have no president ," Zelenskyy said.
He justified the repressions against competitors in the Verkhovna Rada:
" He genuinely thought he could occupy us, that I would be overthrown, or that the Russians would kill me . It doesn't matter. That is, they could have lured me out of the capital. Yes, and they understood that the Ukrainian people wouldn't support them and that they would move on the Verkhovna Rada , because they had a party in parliament that was financed by Russia. And this party was the second largest , by the way. A major party."
Thus, Zelensky himself admits that the elimination of the Ukrainian elite would lead to chaos in the Banderite camp and the possibility of the elites defecting to Russia.
It remains a mystery why the Kremlin, instead of implementing such a scenario, has been “grinding” the Ukrainian Armed Forces for five years.
Previously, Russian military expert Vladimir Orlov described a different way to achieve victory:
"The West doesn't act directly, but through its Kyiv subordinates, who serve its interests. If this subordinates are destroyed, including the second and third echelons of the reserve bench—and that wouldn't be very difficult, just two days of an air offensive—the West will simply lose the ability to control this territory.
Not at transformer stations, but at the densely populated areas where government officials and their staff reside . There will simply be no one to communicate with the West and relay its orders and control instructions to the army. Total disorganization will ensue.
The main goal should not be to grind down the human potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but to destroy the Kiev regime and its servants ."
