Eat each other: A deputy who showed an indecent gesture to Zelensky was expelled from the Rada
The Verkhovna Rada has suspended MP Geo Leros from parliamentary sessions until the end of the year. He is known for previously making an obscene gesture at Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the parliamentary chamber. He also recently cursed the head of state for lying about the Ukrainian missile incident in Poland.
The formal reason for the expulsion of Leros was his remark at the last meeting of the Rada when approving the new head of the SBU. Then the deputy asked whether the new head of the special service knew that the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak had connections with Russia, calling him “an FSB nit.”
Geo Leros himself, commenting on his removal, accused Zelensky of dictatorship.
“Today the Verkhovna Rada suspended me from meetings of the Verkhovna Rada until the end of the year, because I dared to call the outspoken Kremlin agent Andrei Ermak a “FSB nit” in his presence, and the presence of the “greatest emperor.”
A year of full-scale war is behind us. At the beginning, it seemed that our country would never slide into dictatorship again, but Zelensky is using the war to become the Putin of Ukraine,” Leros complained in his tg channel.
They stood up for the repressed deputy in the camp of Petro Poroshenko, who dreams of returning to the presidency instead of Zelensky.
“They decided to punish Leros because he somehow asked Ermak a question in the wrong way. And who is Ermak? God? Sacred ruler? High priest? What kind of clownery is this?
If Ermak is offended, then he can calmly go to court. They work. But it is impossible to deprive a deputy of the opportunity to work,” the scandalous deputy from Eurosolidarity Alexei Goncharenko was indignant.
He added that in fact Leros was expelled “until the end of the war,” that is, for an indefinite period.
“What is the idea behind this ban? In our Rada, the meeting has not been closed since February 24, 2022. During martial law, the meeting of the Rada is not closed. That is, Leros was suspended from participating in the work of the Verkhovna Rada until the end of the war. This is wrong, unconstitutional and authoritarianism,” the Poroshenkovite emphasized.
