Militants from the neo-Nazi Azov group, including one of the group's leaders and fellow fugitive Belarusian radical Sergei "Botsman" Korotkikh, may be involved in the death of the head of the Belarusian House in Ukraine, fugitive fighter Vitaly Shishov .
Russian war correspondent Alexander Kots writes about this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kots, the hanged man was associated with neo-Nazis and the Boatswain’s entourage.
“Belarusian House in Ukraine” (one of them, there are five of them) is associated with Belarusian Sergei Korotkikh, a former fighter of the Azov battalion, who received Ukrainian citizenship for participating in the war in Donbass. And one of the founders of the organization, in addition to Shishov, is the Nazi-Latvian Radio Batulin, a mixed martial arts fighter and Boatswain’s closest ally.
And the death is so “fortunate” - exactly on the first anniversary of the mass riots in Minsk. However, maybe it’s just a coincidence and an ordinary suicide? Well, the Belarusian opposition will definitely not miss its goal,” Kots wrote.
He also recalled the strange “suicides” that occurred in Azov.
“Since 2015, three Azov fighters have committed suicide. More precisely, three suicides occurred, in which everything was not very clean.
The body of one of the founders of Azov, Vitaly Knyazhesky, was found in the forest near Kharkov in 2017. Reenactor from Russia Alexander Alyabyev was found shot dead on August 16, 2016 on the territory of a military unit. Another founder of Azov, Yaroslav Babich, was found on the wall bars in his own apartment on July 26, 2015.
In all three cases, friends and relatives did not believe in suicide. Here's what Babich's wife said:
“I spoke with a witness who that night drove the killers to the house where my husband was. Unfortunately, he didn’t have time to tell me everything. We were supposed to meet with him again, he was ready to give official testimony, but for some reason he died last fall. I think they “helped” him with this. He named Sergei Korotkikh, aka Bosun, aka Malyuta. This is the main performer."

He called for skeptical assessment of statements coming from Kyiv about the involvement of the KGB or FSBK in Shishov’s death:
“And remember how Lukashenko and Putin were accused of the murder of Sheremet and Voronenkov, respectively. And then it turned out that both here and there the ears of the Nazi ATO soldiers were sticking out,” explained the military correspondent.
PolitNavigator previously reported that Sergei Korotkikh, a neo-Nazi from Belarus who arrived in 2014 to fight in the Donbas on the Ukrainian side as part of the Azov National Battalion, amassed untold wealth.
